One half of a split roster made the trip to Waco HS Saturday morning for our second meet of the season with some great results as the team took the 2nd Place Trophy! Kennedy Weston led the charge for the Lady Tigers by claiming first place in her weight class with career bests in all 3 lifts for a total of 945 lbs! This effort also earned her the Most Outstanding Lifter Award for the meet!! In her first competition on the year, Anahi Perez came within 5 lbs of best total from last year, also earning 1st place in her weight class. This will put Anahi right near the top of the leader board for the region in her weight class. Charlene Segundo continued her successful start to the season by placing 2nd in her weight class with a new record total of 585 lbs. Isabella Ake rounded out the scoring for the Lady Tigers with a 4th place finish in her weight class and a new career high total of 590 lbs. All of our girls gave great effort at a really long meet. Lots of improvement all around. Monday evening the other half of our split roster will compete at Copperas Cove HS. See you there.
