The Belton Tigers earned a hard-fought 62–54 victory over Killeen Chaparral in a game defined by toughness, composure, and timely execution. From start to finish, Belton matched Chaparral’s physicality and responded with grit on both ends of the floor. The Tigers leaned on their ability to make winning plays in key moments, using strong defense and patient offense to maintain control late. Every possession felt earned, and Belton’s commitment to playing together proved to be the difference down the stretch.
Daniel Briscoe, Abran Knight, and Noah Childers were instrumental throughout the night, each delivering tough buckets, physical play, and consistent scoring when the game demanded it most. Their willingness to battle inside and finish through contact set the tone for Belton’s effort. On the perimeter, Jay’dn Loggins and Gavin Ross played huge roles with their ball-handling and decision-making, calmly navigating pressure and keeping the offense organized in crucial moments.
The win was made even more special by the outstanding environment inside the gym. The Belton student section brought energy from tipoff to the final horn, creating a true home-court advantage and fueling the Tigers’ momentum. It was a complete night for Belton Varsity Basketball—strong play on the floor, relentless fight, and a passionate crowd behind them. Great job, BHS.
