From the opening tip, the Tigers set the tone defensively and used balanced scoring to steadily build separation. Belton’s ability to defend, rebound, and convert in transition allowed them to maintain momentum and keep Waco High on its heels throughout the night.
Offensively, the Tigers were led by Noah Childers with 19 points, consistently scoring in rhythm and making the right reads within the flow of the offense. Jay’dn Loggins followed closely with 18, attacking in a variety of ways and applying constant pressure on the defense. Off the bench, Abran Knight and Gavin Ross delivered huge minutes, providing energy, toughness, and timely plays that helped extend Belton’s lead and swing momentum in key stretches of the game.
Ty Johnson was a difference-maker with his tough on-ball defense and steady playmaking, setting the tone with his physicality and leadership.
