Tigers fall on Tuesday night after a back and forth battle with the Gatesville Hornets. The loss comes after a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning to put the Hornets ahead 8-7. Overall the game was a hitters dual with 11 hits by the Tigers and 10 hits by the Hornets. Andalyn Logan and Reagan Stuart both hit a home run for the Tigers. Logan also led the team with 3 hits. Tara Stone started on the mound for the Tigers and threw the first four innings with 5 strikeouts and 0 earned runs. Then Hanna Wheeler came in and threw innings 5 and 6 where she had 3 strikeouts and 3 earned runs. Finally Stone came back on for inning 7 where she had forced two outs before 2 back to back hits won the game for the Hornets. Overall it was a tough loss for the Tigers where they hope to reconcile on Friday at Caldwell.
