In a highly contested district matchup, Lady Tiger Soccer battled to a 1-1 draw against Lake Belton High School on their home field Tuesday night.
Lake Belton carried a 1-0 lead into halftime, putting the pressure squarely on the Lady Tigers in the final 40 minutes. With time winding down and the clock ticking under two minutes, the Tigers dug deep and drained every ounce of #TigerGRIT in this final output.
With just 90 seconds remaining, Destiny Schutz delivered the game tying goal, to secure a 1-1 tie.
The result keeps both teams tied atop the district standings with just one game remaining in district play.
Lady Tiger Soccer will now turn its focus to a road trip Friday to face Chaparral High School in the regular season finale.
