Belton Volleyball fell to Round Rock McNeil 0-3 in their season opener, but the Tigers showed plenty of fight as they begin the process of building chemistry with an almost completely new varsity roster after graduating seven players.

Although the Tigers struggled to consistently put the ball away, Amalie Meehan found success throughout the match by attacking around the block and staying aggressive. Ella Tucek provided a much-needed spark with 4 aces, giving the Tigers a morale boost when they needed it most. In the back row, Ciaran Messersmith came up with key digs to keep rallies alive and give the offense opportunities to attack.

With a young team learning to play together, every match is an opportunity to grow, compete, and build that chemistry. The Tigers are back in action with a full weekend of volleyball at the Central Texas Queens of the Court Tournament at Killeen and Chaparral High Schools!
