The Belton Freshman White Tigers battled through a hard-nosed defensive duel against San Angelo Central, ultimately coming up just short in a tight 8-0 loss. From the opening kickoff to the final whistle, the game was an absolute fight as both teams struggled to gain an edge. Defensive units on both sides of the ball held fast, turning every drive into a grueling contest for yardage and keeping the scoreboard quiet for the vast majority of the game.

Despite the low-scoring battle, the Tigers saw several standout individual efforts across the roster. Offensively, T. Casto provided a steady spark on the ground, running the ball with toughness and consistently churning out hard-earned yards against a stout San Angelo defense. On the line, Z. Lance stepped up in a big way for the team, delivering a physical, high-energy performance while pulling double duty at both center and nose tackle to anchor the trenches.

Defensively, Belton kept themselves in position to compete until the very end. J. Alexander turned in a dominant performance in the secondary, completely locking down his side of the field to create a virtual "no fly zone" while making key tackles to stop plays in their tracks. Though the Tigers fell just shy of the victory, the gritty effort and defensive discipline displayed on the field give the Freshman White squad plenty of positives to build upon as they prepare for their next matchup.
