VARSITY SOFTBALL SCRIMMAGE AT TEMPLE
Another great night on the softball field after Belton's second scrimmage of the year. The tigers started off the scrimmage hitting the ball hard but struggled to find a whole. Ramsey Evans Curran got the team started with a solo homerun to start the second inning. Lauren Vazquez ended with 2 hits on the night as well as 1 run for the Tigers. Andalyn Logan helped with an RBI single to score Vazquez. Overall the Tigers scored 4 runs with a singlee from Brysen Gott and amazing speed by Lole Reyes. Reagan Stuart started on the mound for 2 innings and help Temple scoreless with some amazing plays on defense behind her. In the first inning Reyes had two great catches as well as a great diving play in the 5th inning. In the third inning Miley Davila came to the mound and started with 2 strikeouts and a fly ball. Overall Davila let up 2 runs and 1 on an error. Tonight's scrimmage was a great show of learning and what the Tigers can accomplish. Come out and support the tigers in their scrimmages at Westwood High School on Saturday February 3rd at 10:30 and 1:30 pm.
