JV Tigers softball beat Lake Belton 5-2 at home. The team had 1 double by Natalie Fernandez, 4 walks, 7 strikeouts, and were able to do most of their damage through the 6 errors committed by the Lake Belton defense. Hanna Wheeler pitched another great game. She gave up 2 hits, no earned runs and struck 8 without walking a batter. The team played good defense behind her with Jocelyn Long and Aniyah Hernandez making good plays and Aubrey Lynch made a run saving catch in the outfield. The Tigers had a great team win Tuesday and head back into tournament play on Thursday.
