Congratulations to varsity softball on their win over Waco University on Tuesday night 15-3. The offense started out slow for the Tigers with just a solo home run from Lole Reyes in the second inning. Tiger bats came alive in the 4th inning with a 2 run home run from Ramsey Evans-Curran, a double from Andalyn Logan, and a 2 run home run from Lole Reyes again. The bats were hot for the Tigers as Andalyn Logan hit a 2 run home run in the 5th. Top hitters on the night were Andalyn Logan who hit the cycle (1 single, 1 double, 1 triple, and 1 home run) as well as Lole Reyes. Defensively the Tigers were led by Reagan Stuart on the mound who had only 2 earned runs with great defensive plays behind her. Hailey Schutz made an amazing throw from center field to catcher Ramsey Evans-Curran to get the runner into a pickle and finally tagged out by Brysen Gott. Overall it was a great night for the Tigers as they look forward to playing Chaparral at home on Friday night.
