Great night for Belton Softball as they defeated 2nd place team Shoemaker 4-1 in 7 innings. Reagan Stuart had an incredible night on the mound for the Tigers and had 0 earned runs with only 4 hits and 6 strikeouts in the 7 innings. The Tiger offense was able to capitalize on speed and Shoemaker errors to score 4 runs on just 4 hits. Andalyn Logan led the offense going 2 for 3 with 2 singles. Iris Molina and Ramsey Evans-Curran also had a single on the night. Hailey Schutz put up 2 sacrifice bunts for the Tiger offense and Molina put up a sacrifice fly ball to score a runner. Overall it was an incredible team effort to put away Shoemaker and to improve season record to 9-4 with one game left to play on Tuesday at Ellison.
