Tough loss last night at Belton softball prepares for playoffs. Last night the Tigers lost 12-1 in their last home game against Troy. Reagan Stuart started in the circle for the Tigers and threw 1 inning with 2 earned runs. Lucy Liu Gaines-Lucas came in and pitched innings 2 and 3 with 6 earned runs and a strikeout. To close the game Hanna Wheeler came in and threw the last two innings with 3 earned runs and 2 strikeouts. Overall the Tiger offense could not keep up with the Trojanette pitchers. However Brysen Gott, Andalyn Logan, Reagan Stuart, and Iris Molina put together the 4 hits for the Tigers. As a team we know where to focus in the coming days leading into playoffs.
