The Belton JV Tigers basketball team showed grit and determination in their latest outing but ultimately fell to the A&M Consolidated JV team in a closely contested game. Despite their efforts, the Tigers couldn't overcome their opponents, losing by a narrow margin.
Leading the charge for the Tigers was Gavin Ross, who poured in 11 points to pace the team. Dadrian Thompson and Keishawn Coles each added 9 points, providing consistent offensive support, while Khy Griffin chipped in with 7 points in an all-around solid effort.
The Tigers fought hard on both ends of the court, with their defense creating several key turnovers and their offense showing flashes of brilliance. However, the A&M Consolidated team managed to edge ahead in the closing minutes, securing the victory.
Fans of the Tigers won’t have to wait long for the team to rebound. The JV squad will be back in action next Tuesday, traveling to Georgetown Eastview High School to take on the Patriots. The team is eager to bounce back and showcase their resilience.
Come out and support your Tigers as they look to turn things around and add another win to their record!
