The JV Tigers played a great game on Friday defeating Waco 40-11. Eight different players scored in one of the team's best games of the year. Aubrey Edwards led the team with 13 points with Ariana Tobar adding 7 points as well. The team had strong defensive play from Saniya Huston, Dylan Waldrep, Abby Corona, and Edwards. Posts Jenny Nelson, Melissa Farmer, Avery Angell, and Tobar had numerous blocked shots and worked hard to make sure Waco had trouble scoring inside. They contributed to the team's 40 points with good shots around the basket. The Tigers play Lake Belton at home on Tuesday.
