In a round-robin style tournament on Saturday, the JV team went 1-2 against three high-level 6A opponents. The highlight of the day was a hard-fought, three-set victory over Eastview, where every single point was earned through gritty play.
Defensively, Paisley Davis stood out with relentless effort and hustle, while Soley Torres stepped up to the challenge of playing all six rotations for the first time. The team's continued growth remains driven by their collective effort, selflessness, and coachability. The Tigers look forward to returning to district play on Tuesday evening when they take on Shoemaker High School.
