Congratulations to varsity softball on their 20-3 win over Chaparral on Wednesday night. Lucy-Liu Gaines-Lucas started on the mound and threw for the Tigers with 3 strikeouts and 3 earned runs in 3 innings. Hanna Wheeler closed the game in the 4th inning with 1 strikeout and no earned runs. The Tiger bats were alive with 15 hits. Top hitters on the night were Jackyln Munoz and Reagan Stuart both going 3 for 4 at the plate. Munoz also hit her first high school home run over deep centerfield. The tigers had 18 RBI's on the night with 3 from Hailey Schutz, Ramsey Evans Curran, Andalyn Logan, Gaines-Lucas, and Munoz. The Tigers improve to 8-4 in district and take on Shoemaker at home on Friday night.
